If I was in Pyschology, or didn't fail it last semester, I would do a study on gamers and why they complain about everything...but I can't...because I failed Pyschology...

How could you expect devs to put out updates so often? Other than bug fixes, every other updates require planning, development, testing, release, maintenance. Rinse and repeat. How much do you think they can do in a week? How much can YOU do in a week?

I don't know if they can support themselves, but they have put a lot of effort into maintenance (which is already the hardest thing in software development cycle) and further developments (which are not required). please appreciate them before complaining.

i'll leave some money for the expansion as well, unless i really can't find time (i guess i'll ALWAYS have time to play GW regardless, LOL)

I don't understand why they cant constantly post even 15 minutes a day and tell us what there plans are...... If i was working there i would constantly be on forums like these looking for ideas and answering questions. They surely must have a costumer consumer rep so why cant he/she keep us up to date.

Have you ever thought that less updating is a good thing? Most of the updates are for closing exploits, so less updates = less exploits. And don't tell me about the riverside "exploits". Whoever doing riverside runs to make gold are simply stupid; that is arguably one of the worse way to make gold. And if you are doing it for unlocking runes, it's still a dumb and slow way to unlock runes.

Maybe I'm just overly sensitive but WHY do we have to grief people over spelling errors? If their entire message was filled with them, fine. But one or two? Give 'em a break. We all do it, for Pete's sake.

Also, I don't suppose it occured to you that he intentionally misspelled "psychology" since he failed it (ostensibly, that is)?

Posts like this frustrate me, why do games, no matter how good, attract so many detractors. People seem to have a warped sense of entitlement, just follow with me here a bit. ANet is providing new areas, new features (rune traders, the new scrolls, improving skill capture), new PVP functionality, as well as regular major bug fixes and and this is on top of an already great game. Is it just me or all the things they are adding are about the equvalent of a regular games expansion pack? And we aren't paying anything for it? Excuse me, but ANet is providing more support for thier community (as well as listen more to it) than any other game I have participated in, seen or heard of. It's time for some people to join the rest of the real world or just plain leave. It's time that ANet got the credit that they richly deserve.

P.S. ANet also already has my money for the expansion, if its as good and as big as the current game is my head might just explode when I first play it.

Don't let this thread frustrate you, internopsp is just trolling. Nobody can be foolish enough to confuse the hourly fixes to small issues during a couple of three-day beta periods for a template of a post-launch update schedule, but calling 99% of the GW population morons should be enough to clue anyone in about his intentions.

Seriously. Compare the time it takes for patches to come out for WoW with that of GW. It's ridiculous-- it can take months with WoW. Not to mention the horrible communication between the players and the devs.

I meant in terms of 1337 ppl.

I am a moron too when it comes to that stuff. but they should not release a great content filler JUST BECAUSE few stupid 1337 ppl could crack it or whatever. For the few percentage that do? Wow gj and they get there accounts banned. And then gw fixes it at a later date. BUT WE STILL HAVE THE COOL UPDATES.

actually 2 things here bud, a gaming company ISN'T going to pay you to WATCH A FORUM ALL DAY LONG. Get over it *Peg Bundy*, they have people that frequent these forums, but also have many interviews with magazines, guilds, other gaming sites, etc.

so your a hero who has beat the game and did all the missions and quest *hands you a cookie* want another ... so you say NOW WHAT?

tell me you have all the skills I will give you one more. I play 6 hours a night (yes no life ty for noticing, bbq, beer and gw), played since many betas ago like nov, beat the game with 2 characters have 2 others ascended dropped 2 off by the wilds, have all the ranger skills all but 2 mesmer elites, 4 monk, 4 necro elites, blah blah blah brag brag brag ... *guess what* I still gotta unlock all the skills just like the rest of us. I have fun doing it too, travelling with new people, the humour in a good group is priceless.

There are many aspects of fun still here amigo

All these people complain that there's nothing to do once you've beaten the storyline. I'd hate to see them play offline games...

P.S. Gail and Alex are Arena.Net workers that post on important topics, usually relating to recent updates.
